Your username reminds me that I've had the Lensman novel for a very long time, yet I've never gotten around to reading it. Should I start with Lensman or Triplanetary to read first?
I did, but I wasn't overly impressed. I do think it would make a great series of films if they tried to stick to the books and did it with a nice retro-futuristic look.
Retro-futuristic. Yeah, that kind of reminds me of a Dreamcast game called Space Channel 5. It had that Jetsons type of retro look to it with bubble space helmets and such.
I hear the goose saying "aboot"
Fucking Canadian geese. We should have built a wall to contain the northern border.
That is easy. Everything.
that is not discernment. the lies only fool people because they are mixed with truth.

The same media that’s states Biden is mentally stable is the same media that states he received 81,000,000 votes, that the election was not stolen
Anything they please, since 2013.

I'd start with Triplanetary, which Doc Smith rewrote into a prequel for the series. The final order:

Triplanetary, First Lensman, Galactic Patrol, Gray Lensman, Second Stage Lensmen, Children of the Lens.
Thanks! Did you ever see the Japanese Lensman anime? I understand that it's pretty divergent, but I thought it was fun.

That looks retro 1960s to me, like Barbarella. I want to see something more 1930s-1940s SF retro, in the style of the original illustrations.
