Elections have always tended to be rigged. When ballots are counted by poll workers, they’re rigged by those who have access / control… i.e. poll workers. Where ballots are counted by computers, they’re rigged by those who control the computers. At least with paper ballots you need a “ground game” as Obama put it. You need tens of thousands across the country, in positions of adequate power, plus enough real ballots to be within striking distance. Electronic / mail voting let’s the results get further and further detached from reality.
