Well, nobody really asked the Finns. The decision was made by our elected leaders, who may very well be about as elected as your Biden and co. And I doubt they are regretting anything. Why would they, they will get nice cushy jobs for obeying their handlers, like Sanna Marin did, and they don't care about the hoi polloi, or what the likely majority of said hoi polloi might have wanted or thinks.

Unfortunately most of said hoi polloi either still trusts that the elections work, or has lost hope because they think they are the minority and nothing will ever be done about it. Whether the believers or the hopeless are the larger group nobody knows. Mostly it seems that the doubters are gaining, but maybe too slowly for it to do anything in time.
