Marx is actually the nicer one here. What he meant by private property was basically only bussinesses/industries. You get to keep your phone, car, ect but can't start a business.

With Dr Evil, you don't get to own your clothes, phone and probably if they get their way not even the oxygen you breathe.

Close, but communism does not really want to "abolish" private property. Rather, communism wants to claim all property as "govt. owned," thereby shifting the ownership of property into the hands of govt. officials, and bureaucrats.

Out loud they will say: "You will own nothing, and you will be happy." But, the quiet part that they don't say is: "We will own everything, and we really don't care how you feel about that."
