I know that our precinct results are true as turned in. I see all the results and as a Republican judge at the end of the night after we print them out. I sign off on them and the chain of custody form (this is new since 2020).

Unfortunately, I don’t know what happens to the data from the machine’s thumb drive after it gets to the county and then when all the county data gets downloaded into state computers.

I do know this year for the first time none of the absentee ballots nor early vote results get downloaded ahead of time any longer. They now get counted on Election Day. I think that can eliminate some fraud ahead of time so “they” can no longer see how many votes they need to win.

I believe NC Republican majority legislature has tightened up the election process so now it is harder to cheat than in 2020.

It helps but I’m sure there are still ways to cheat ( like registering illegals to vote) or switching votes in the state computers, or the bigger more blue counties than my mostly rural red county could be more lax about n following the rules
