A driver’s license proves nothing regarding citizenship. These days you should be required to present a birth certificate or passport when voting and when obtaining a driver’s license. The driver’s license can be coded in a particular way to indicate: birth citizenship, citizenship via non-U.S. born, and non-citizen permit. In the age of computers, this can be cross referenced with pictures, last 4 digits of social security number. If that had to be placed on mail in ballots, along with driver’s license or passport number that should eliminate a good portion of the fraud.
See my post below on Michigans requirements. We require a watermarked original birth certificate to get your drivers license. They still work around it though.
It is at least a deterrent.
I am fully prepared to pull my passport out to vote.
Michigan requires a drivers license which to get you must show an original copy with a watermark of your birth certificate and 2 pieces of mail establishing residence. But if you dont have it they let you sign an affidavit saying that you do have one.
How much ya wanna bet the only follow up on those affidavits is on those casting votes against regime approved candidates?
And to double and triple down its now a crime to even question the legitimacy of the ballot count. No more audits accusing fraud or go to jail.
Michigan is *f.

Ironically, 2016 I lost my wallet the night before election so no ID and voted in MA no problem. I got to vote for Trump but thought it was crazy I could just stroll in, give a name, and vote.
They don't really care how you vote because they can flip it anyway they want. They just want to make it so people believe that we have fair election.
I had to show my ID to buy a lighter the other day. One with a child lock.
You have to show IDs to book a motel or get on airlines, but yes, Demonrats think we do not need IDs to vote.
