I certainly hope you are correct, but we know these people (although they say the stupidest things) aren't actually that dumb. They can not (well they can) be counted out until they are no longer among the living-we will see. I am with you on your assessment, but I will wait until I see the trials, guilty verdicts, and punishments handed out.
