It is ridiculous. Just think of all the people who live in apartments that couldn't possibly charge at home. A Nissan Leaf takes 40 to 60 minutes to charge on a DC Quick Charger.
EVs will take over eventually, but not until they solve the charging problem and make it profitable to vastly improve power grid's capacity. And that certainly won't be in 2032.
