Why was black music so much better back in the 60's than it is today? Rap ruined it for wonderful black singers. Now we have to endure Lizzo and Megan the Stallion. Ugh. I'll take these gentlemen over those fatties.

One of my biggest thrills when I was young was watching Cab Calloway perform live singing "Minnie the Moocher." I've never forgotten it.

since you mentioned Cab Calloway, many decades ago, I was fortunate to attend a live performance of "Hello Dolly", starring the great Pearl Bailey AND Cab Calloway...and the rest of the cast were black as well...WHAT A SHOW it was!
