They were. Two others were hit. And possibly one of shots hit Trumps suit jacket (he wears a vest). If it was 22 caliber would have been stopped by vest.
Also heard rumor could have been a 2nd shooter but personally believe that is false. Sounded like he got anywhere from 3-5 shots off; they were packed in like sardines so all shooters shots sound accounted for.

Sorry, it’s been a long day. Just glad Trump is ok and will wait for the dust to settle and more details before I open my trap again.

22LR is easy for a vest to stop, civilians can easily buy soft vests that stop 44 magnum rounds.
