The witness saw a guy with a rifle climbing to the rooftop of a building nearby. He and his friends alerted the police. They could see the Secret Service people looking right at them with binoculars and tried to grab their attention.

Within a few minutes they heard 5 shots and he is positive that it came from that guy. Right after that the SS blew his head off.
