Sniper did not have a shot until assassin was at the ridge. That is why assassin was belly crawling along the lower part of the roof. The sniper being told to stand down is not factual. Nobody has a reliable source for that. The video of the sniper shooting the assassin shows the sniper aiming at the roof looking for a shooter. The sniper was most likely told to look by the security that so many are claiming "did nothing." It seems reasonable that once the assassin popped his head up over the ridge and started shooting the sniper found him and put a couple rounds through his left cheek. There was no opportunity to take out the assassin when he pointed the rifle at the cop because he was lower than the roof's ridge and out of the sniper's sight. The only questionable conspiracy element here is the connection of the assassin and whoever probably intentionally neglected to secure the most obvious perch an assassin would use and why wasn't Trump pulled off that stage as soon as the cop retreated from engaging the assassin? Who decided to Leave Trump out there?
