Crooks’ parents, Matthew and Mary Crooks, née Frizzi, are certified behavioral health counselors, according to state licensing records. Neither responded on Sunday to multiple requests for comment from The Independent.
In a brief call with CNN on Saturday night, Matthew Crooks, 53, said he was attempting to figure out “what the hell is going on,” and that he needed to “wait until I talk to law enforcement” before saying anything further.
!!! When law enforcement searched Crooks’ body, they found he had no ID on him, FBI Special Agent in Charge Kevin Rojek of the bureau’s Pittsburgh Field Office said at a press conference on Saturday night. A DNA analysis was then performed, which confirmed his identity, Rojek said.!!!
Umm…
#1 I didn't think dna was that quick?
#2 If he had no ID what were they comparing the dna to/with?
I'm guessing that if any of this is on the up and up, their behavioral counciling business will be taking a significant hit.
I never heard of DNA tests being that quick either except on TV shows where they have to wrap up the story in an hour or less, and question #2 is a good one too. He would have to have something in their system somewhere to compare it to.
There is so much fookery around this that even though the 48 hour rule hasn't expired yet the bullcrap is insurmountable no matter what story they settle on. I figure that with the FBI in charge of the investigation it's over. We'll never know the truth.
