The facial features, facial shape, hair distribution of Maxwell Yearick and the corpse are identical. In the photo you found, there is a distinct underbite not seen on Yearick or the corpse.

I can see the boy in the photos growing up to look like Thomas Matthew Crooks, but not Maxwell Yearick.
