I don't even know that it's stupidity. Or at least to me, stupidity would imply an unchanging level of intelligence that is lower than average. Whatever this is, it's willful, willfully turning off their brains. They are ideologically possessed. They go out of their way to protect themselves from reality, highly emotional. It's like they're turning off their consciousness and it's their lizard brain running the show.

I've seen people that come out of the liberal stupor, and they completely go back to being a normal human being.
