I don't buy it. They're trying to frame the story as a Trump supporter being the shooter to push a narrative.

Or that the parents - Trump supporters, evil people - pushed their poor child into a rebellion against them and their worldview to the point where he started to see Trump as the instigator, and in despairing rebellion, angry at his parents, decided to kill the man his parents admired.

Might work as well, and perhaps could be the reason why they are showing those pictures of the shooter back when he was a cute looking kid and teenager.
