What he means is when Catholics pray to Mary. Mary is a wonderful woman and blessed because she carried our Lord. However when Mary went to paradise/Heaven after her death she was not exalted to a position of High Priest. Only Jesus is the High Priest and our prayers are to God the Father through Jesus our High Priest. All of this is scriptural. And found mostly in the books of Hebrews and Romans and then of course the gospels.

My mother's side is Catholic and she tells me how she prays to her parents who are dead and I calmly tell her to pray to God. God only.
