Some can have dogs. I work from home so they are well taken care of.

Yeah, I'd like a dog or cat, but my wife isn't keen on either. A dog is really more loyal than a human, while a cat is low ain't. You can leave cats with food, water, and lots of litter and they are ok. A dog left alone is miserable.
