There have been congressional hearings looking into the 51 spies who lied about Hunter Biden's laptop being Russian disinformation. I don't imagine anything will be done to them until after President Trump is back in office. Obviously, our current DOJ would never prosecute them.

It was mentioned here recently that the report with the 51 signatures was created for Biden to use during the Presidential debate if President Trump mentioned Hunter's laptop. Given that Biden used it on stage during a Presidential debate, it would be considered election interference.

Morell, the chief architect, explicitly told other statement signers: “we think Trump will attack Biden on the issue at this week’s debate and we want to give the VP a talking point to use in response.

It is a good thing Biden has continued President Trump's Executive Order 13848 indefinitely. I wonder who was twisting his arm?

Executive Order 13848

I, Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, find that the ability of persons located, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States to interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation, constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.

All property and interests in property that are in the United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or hereafter come within the possession or control of any United States person of the following persons are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in.

Sept 2021, the first time Biden continued EO 13848 for one year.

The second time Biden extended EO 13848 he did so without an end date. (Executive Order 13848 of September 12, 2018, is to continue in effect beyond September 12, 2022.)

Executive orders do not inherently have a predefined end date. When an executive order is issued, it remains in effect until it is revoked, amended, or superseded by a subsequent executive order or legislative action. The absence of a specified end date means that the order continues until such action occurs.
