Droplet precaution considers 3 feet the fallout area. So two people would need to be apart 6 feet because two 3 foot circles. Not defending this… but this is the standard we use.

Edit: To my downvoter, my 41 years in the medical field trumps your downvote. We put up waning cards on iso room’s doorframes. Droplet is 3 feet for fallout. Sorry you don’t understand this.🙄

virus was demonstrated to be aerosolized - floats far beyond 6 feet - no mask can block it, or prevent disease - this fact is printed on every mask package
