For the heck of it yesterday, thinking there might be a Godfather III reference to this song, I asked Google:

Was Nessun Dorma in The Godfather ?

No, "Nessun dorma" is not in The Godfather, but it is featured in another movie, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. In that film, the aria plays during a scene at the Vienna State Opera where Ethan Hunt and his team try to stop an assassination. "Nessun dorma" is an aria from the final act of Puccini's opera Turandot. It begins with Turandot declaring that "None shall sleep" in the kingdom until Calaf's name is discovered.

I thought that was interesting... but not nearly as interesting as it being the closing scene in The Sum of All Fears... like freaking WOW!!!
