The tech used here is legit.
I didn't realize the shooter used a 1x red dot on a DPMS AR15. Assuming that is accurate, that is some weak sauce. Thankfully.
A vanilla AR15 will be ~2-3 MOA, which means that at ~120M you can expect no more than ~2.2"-3.3" of accuracy at that distance.
I watched it. Even the night it happened and I started hearing the conspiracies. I find it impossible hard to believe that you would stand a the podium and have a guy from 150ish yards away shoot you in the ear. Could you imagine that conversation. As far as the lack of security and possible how some acting in the crowd. That doesn't mean that Trump staged it. It would be one hell of a false flag but with a more desirable outcome for we the people. I just put my money on 90% that it was not staged.
In order for this shooting to be staged, one would need a willing subject and a sub-MOA rifle. Meaning a rifle that would shoot under 1 inch groups at that distance (I am being generous, as the true definition would in this case be 1" [3 shot] group at 100 Yards/Meters).
No sane person would allow a person with a rifle to shoot at their head. With that said, if you could find people willing to have you shoot at their head, none of them would allow someone to do so with a 2-3MOA rifle. Not if they like breathing.
Exactly... I don't care if it is smart bullets from 2 feet away. There is no way anyone would go that far.
