Highly intellectual people and the “super-educated” have a marked tendency to always defer to authority/“the experts”.

I saw it firsthand in my job during covid. Some of the smartest accountants, brokers, lawyers and wealthiest clients; all complete dumbasses spewing MSNBC talking points at me 😒
