Let's not pretend we wouldn't be screaming insurrection if Obama did the same thing in January 2017 after Trump won.
And we don't need to paint with a "fair" brush. If Trump did what they claimed and tried to get a crowd to overthrow the leaders in Washington, it wouldn't have been an insurrection because he would have been stopping one. If Obama did it, it would have been an insurrection because Trump won fair and square. Context matters.
Alternatively, it's always an insurrection, but then we'd have to say that some insurrections are just.
I don't see a case where it's never an insurrection, since that would mean the sitting government can just ignore vote results they don't like with impunity regardless of circumstances. They agree to be bound by the will of the people, and so if they ignore that after a fair vote, they are committing insurrection. They represent the people, they aren't in charge of their own power or merit, but by the blessing of the people.

Well, to me, the first thing we have to do is to take our words back. The Dems/Commies should no longer control the use of our language, when they say Democracy, we should say Republic (if we can keep it). And it seems to slipping away.
