My best friends wife and his 2 kids are going to Washington DC tomorrow for vacation. We are from Oregon. Hes not into conspiracy or political stuff. I told him it was a bad idea. What are your thoughts of this vacation. Is it safe for her to go alone with 2 kids?

I'm just saying we went around it, New York, and Philly on our last trip up the east coast.
