Is there any way to find out if a (regular, not famous) person is a mason?
I'm having so much trouble at work. I work at the church where I am a member.
The Pastor came here 1-1/2 years ago and single-handedly changed the structure of organization so that only he is in control.
As the finance secretary I have seen very bad things. I have reported my concerns to others on the personnel committee but nothing happens.
The Pastor is constantly gaslighting me, then buys me lunch or a donut, then talks down to me.
My father (said he) was a 33rd degree Mason - father did the same things to me. This Pastor treats me the same way my father did - back and forth from treating me so badly - then tells me I'm a compassionate, intuitive, and hard-worker.
I am not allowed to talk to anyone except him when I am offended by things like the pornography Group that to the church's facebook page joined. I "unjoined" it and it got "rejoined"
I took sick leave because I was covered in hives from nerves. I advised him I was getting an attorney and He texted me "So much for loving your church, and loving the Lord. So sad."
I am 61 years old - now the old terrible dreams from my childhood molestation have returned. I have reported my concerns to the national conference, the state conference and the local bank. I have removed myself to administrative leave and just got a letter asking for my resignation.
I am devastated I wet the bed almost every night. I HAVE located a christian counselor and I am on the 3rd read through Chuck Degroate's "When Narcisism Comes To Church"
This here - GAW - is my only "go to" when I need input and quickly. I don't necessarily need anything other than research. I have good resources in the emotional arena. and today I will tender my involuntary resignation.
I have to find out if this man is a mason. He is too wealthy otherwise. Pastors are never this wealthy (millions)
Leave immediately and forget about finding out about who or what the so-called, "pastor" is. "servants of God" should not get rich via their "service"nor should they be passive-aggressive abusers of ANYONE. He's a toxic, abusive narcissist and it's a toxic environment, which is FAR from loving, humble, meek and Christ-like.
If the rest of the congregation can't see that somethings "not right", that is THEIR problem to manage/rectify, NOT yours.
Find a small based, simple, bible-believing church where love, forgiveness and salvation are preached and where you and your contributions will be welcomed and respected.
