Say he fires the first 3 rounds. How'd he know Crooks was ready, right at that exact moment, to immediately start blasting the 5 rapid shots? They weren't in radio contact I hope ;p
They didn't even need Crooks to fire a shot. If Sniper Greg had iced Trump, and then the USSS snipers took out Crooks before he fired, all the FBI would have had to say is they found shell casings and a recently fired AR next to the dead patsy, the lone shooter! No you can't see them, they're POOGI (part of an ongoing investigation)!! Nothing to see here
Or, alternatively...if you're the deep state, why shoot Trump yourself when you have an armed patsy to do it for you, whom you can then decapitate with sniper fire ?
Of course. I heard there were three agents in that building, not just two. Whatever the number, they all need to be skewered from eye socket to bunghole like a stuck pig on a spit and roasted with interrogation—just for allowing the incident to occur, with a rifleman on the roof right next to the open window where they either fired from or were just hanging out, enjoying the assassination. Was it murderous malevolence or colossal incompetence?
So I'm using "Sniper Greg" as handy shorthand for "the goddamn fucking son of a bitch who shot President Trump". If it turns out not to be Greg, that's OK. At this point my unending respect for the secret service is ended.

Have you ever seen the movie Sniper, starring Tom Berenger and Billy Zane? The movie comes out in the early 1990's when one could consider radio communication technology of the last 20 years science fiction then. Both actors portray snipers who communicate in the field by aiming their weapons at each other while looking through their scopes. One raises his head to intitiate communication while the other looks through his scope.
One can see the first Secret Service sniper team atop the red building nearest the shooter's position in some video footage clearly. Notice the sniper whose rifle sits atop the tripod. He appears to have "the drop" on Thomas Crooks well before the first volley of shots. The sniper raises his head and then responds by flinching to the incoming fire while pulling back his mounted rifle. The SS sniper provides the signal for the assassin to shoot Donald Trump knowingly or unknowingly; he looks for Crooks instead of Sniper Greg.
In a hurry, I said shell casings. But only shotgun shells have shell casings, since the entire thing is the shell.
But cartridge isn't right either. The brass thing the bullet is stuck into is a case or casing. The bullet and the casing together are the cartridge. So they probably didn't find cartridges on the roof, unless the guy spilled his ammo.
Actually, that was the point. Cartridges are unfired. Speculation was they were planted. And who really fired the shots. It was something to think about.
Called it. Sniper Greg in the window FTW

I wouldn't immediately pin it on Sniper Greg...I would say both him and his partner are suspects.
Both of them need to be questioned.

Were they casings? or cartridges? I thought I saw a report that stated they found cartridges on the roof. That's an important detail.
We are using wrong terminology.

(Still not the only shooter)

Why go to the trouble and risk of planting full cartridges? That seems................weird.
Bingo...if he wasn't the shooter, did the cartridges spill when he was shot?'
