I remember because I have family there. There were abandoned trailers (truck trailers) left in remote places filled with supplies... rats had gotten into them. My family had to stand in line for hours & hours for gas & at food stores. They were limited on food items that they could buy. The banks only opened for a certain amount of time so people could get cash out to buy these things. We sent boxes and boxes of things to them.
