So only one 16 year old, the rest adults?
Normally when you see trafficking in events like this, they seem to be younger.
This seems a bit irregular even for California. And because it's California, you can assume it's not a thing where they were some willing prostitutes.
I'd like to see some mug shots. I wonder how many of these were illegals.
I just made a long post below that I think addresses the very insightful concerns you have raised. The TLDR is that I think there was a lot more child trafficking going on, but evil Rob Bonta is covering up the worst of the criminality with this very light bust to make it look like he's doing his job (when its probably likely Bonta is actually aiding and abetting).
