I am not sure if castration will solve the problem of sexual abuse, from what I have read about it, it is an act of dominance and sadism, which comes from the sick brains of pedos, often a result of having been abused themselves. Horrible sex crimes that include sadism often do not include the perp actually having intercourse. The wealthy who commit these crimes are able to go to some shithole country where child prostitution is considered part of sexual tourism. I don't think it will solve the issue, and it may end up with more children being killed after the act, to prevent the child from telling someone. I mean, I have no problem at all with a perp having his balls cut off, but the problem is so systemic within the evil ways of the world, the death penalty would have more impact. Dexter comes to mind. There are still many states that allow marraige under 18, and some have no restriction on age, to be legal. A child in those states could be sold into marraige (child rape) within its own cult religion and get away with it. What we need is a secret vigilante task force of our own, how can you trust a system that has allowed this to go on to actually stop it?
