I graduated high school in 1982. I loved Barney Miller. I knew what the Trilateral Commission was, and who the Rockefellers were. I was labeled a conspiracy theorist even in junior high. I wonder if any of my former classmates are laughing now?
Probably NOT. Well done!
Same timeline, I used to hang out at the Local Village Store owned by the Mayor, an would read the papers as I listened to them talk in code about plans they had for the Village....
After a few moths of this, they caught on to what I was doing, an would change the entire convo when I walked in, but when I told people about it, nobody believe me...
Oh well, at least the comics were good....
Observer: [discussing The Village] This place has been going for a long time.

The awake have known all along what's up.
My story is very similar to yours.
