I've been thinking about this. I really need a house and looking. The prices are very stupid. But I'm paying astronomical unforgiving rent that just went up + storage. If and when there's a correction, am I just forever fucked yet again? And the thousands of others that bought? These past 4 years came at a very bad time for me.

Yes. Modern "capitalism" consists of predatory multinational corporations killing small, locally-owned, business. They have offshored all manufacturing, and now we are tied to the ChiComs (and others). We have lost skills, and it will be hard to rebuild, but we must. Not sure how it will play out exactly, but young men going into the trades and learning hard skills is part of it, as well as reducing the paperwork burden to make it easier to start small business. That would be more like true capitalism, not this distorted globalist thing we have now.
