So they made up a fake action by God (rapture) to only turn around and give credibility to the existence and authority of God by saying this was an action (rapture) of God?
Brother, this makes no sense. Anyone who knows the Bible well enough to know of the rapture, because you’re right in that the word rapture is not used in the Bible, neither is the word bible btw but I digress. Anyone who knows of the rapture will not just assume they were abandoned and give up on God but will most likely have their belief affirmed and turn toward God even more passionately. Perhaps even bring more souls to Jesus. On a side note, the rapture is spoken of in the Bible, just not using the word “rapture” and there is precedent of previous biblical people being raptured. Enoch and Elijah were.
Anyway, there is plenty of non “clown” preachers that provide some very strong arguments using God’s word as proofs for rapture, not their own, but even then, the truth is does anyone really know other than the Father? No. As much as you think you do, you don’t. His ways are above our ways. We can but glean but a small glimpse of who God is let alone His intricate plans. Enough to trust Him for sure but to comprehend His intentions in all things? No.
He has spoken. Use His word to promote your opinions. Not yours.
