Yeah you're fine. They are just lying to try to get people to stop.

You are violating no federal statute.

IF in the astronomical chance any US authorities reached out to you, as with anything, don't answer questions. Period. You are not required to talk to any of them.

But this is just an empty threat by people that can't bully you since you are outside of their jurisdiction
