Agreed, it was more than incompetence. But I like Bongino, he is ex Secret Service, so I hope it’s just bias and being unable to accept that this was a setup to fail to facilitate the assassination of Trump.
The incompetence is their get out of jail card for now. They did not anticipate the research being done by anons, which is beginning to prove beyond doubt it was planned and not incompetence.

That being said, getting very tired of Bongino leading the "incompetency/DEI" charge on the SS' failure to protect the President.
