A family member who is a cardiac nurse just told me about a patient they had. Patient is over 80 y.o. and presented with chest pain. Patient was taken to get a cath. Fastest cath ever. No blockages. Been taking lysine and vit C for years.

No Heart attack. They never found anything and discharged him. There are other reasons for high troponins, the enzyme, but coupled with chest pain... generally indicates cardiac distress/blockages and heart attack. But this guy had squeaky clean arteries.
