Mostly. There probably are still plenty of Muslims who are rather more interested in having a good comfortable life than using their lives to convert and/or conquer, especially if that would mean not having that nice life, so there may still be hope that that religion will one day change into something other groups can live with without conflict.
The problem being that that is probably not going to happen now, nor in the near future. Christians did after all also once upon a time go for the sword conversion idea, forcing people conquered by them to convert or die, and then after some centuries finally gave that up. Islam seems to be still at that stage, so presumably, if they get past it, it will also take at least some centuries.
