Can someone explain to me why is it so hard to adapt to so called "Western Values"?

Most of them are rooted in natural law and common sense. The 10 commandments is a good start.

Why is it hard to adapt to this way of life?

I see the Western Values is simple common sense rules. Nothing complicated here.
