Yes. I never put tips on my credit card. I carry enough cash to leave it on the table for them. I didn't know they will calculate a tip percentage based on reported sales.
I work at a very large resort- the actually had IRS agents sit at the various bars and count all the tips coming in- I do not lie...
Legit "Agents" planted their bloated asses at bars for hours counting cash tips as they crossed,and examining credit card tips post shift.

Many can now carry cash, charge the service and leave "TRUMP 2024, no tax on tips" on the gratuity line and leave good old fashioned cash as a tip
