Yes they were. When you present in the ER with flu like symptoms the first tests are lower level because start low go high is in effect. Chest X-ray before CT etc.
I am an ER doctor and I worked on the front lines. I worked through Covid in Florida. After March 2020 myself and 30 other ER doctors only tested for Covid in the ED. We started testing again for the flu in 2022.
From my experience, blood clots in lungs/legs in people without any other risk factors for clotting. Lots of weird neurological complaints that were not very common before the vaccine. Increased amounts of strokes and cancer in younger people. The adverse effects of the vaccine are easier to see in younger people because in general they do not have any comorbidities and no real risk factors to explain having a stroke or having an advanced cancer.
What woke me up in 2019 was when they stopped tracking flu cases. I was skeptical from day 1 and tracked data, but It became completely obvious we were in a scamdemic when the flu went away. For first time in over 100 years. I wouldn’t even call what happened next rabbit hole- more like a Lagomporpha Labyrinth

No, i think the flu was still there during 2020 and 2021, but they just registered it all as "Corona" in order to deceive people into taking the MRNA-shot.
I hear what you're saying. But maybe humankind isn't meant to have a flu every year? Maybe they are poisoning us every year. So we have "the flu" that is making us sick every year, but it's not natural, aw-shucks, it's designed.
I'm asking why we aren't questioning the "flu" every year.
i do believe that the influenza-virus is real and natural, but the scheme of offering yearly flu-shots might well have the same nefarious intentions as the COVID shots, i.e. killing the patient.
I heard the late Dr. Zelenko bring up the idea of the yearly flu (and not just covid) being a bio-weapon in an interview, so now I'm thinking he was on to something.
One thing that is probable, our immune systems are being weakened, so it is easier to get sickness and disease. Vaccines have been proven to weaken (at least temporarily) the immune system. Our diet also contributes. Who knows what else in our lives weakens it, technology, pollution, stress, etc.

A Virus so deadly you had to be tested to know you have it! Also in the beginning the litmus test didnt pass the sniff test when they said Politicians and people working for the vaccine manufacturers did not have to take the jab. I mean what part of that did people not understand?
The International Virus Scam of 2020 WAS the flu. Repacked and sold as a deadly virus, while the media made sure the majority of people went full retard.
When they told medical coders to code from a positive covid19 lab result, which we have never done before or after, I knew it was a scam for sure.
