Her lawyer tried to, but objection was lodged by prosecutors and sustained by the judge, saying only Colorado retention law was relevant. Judge's instructions to the jurors also carefully included what laws were to be considered in their deliberations.

Wow. Even more federal laws were broken. I thought that federal laws supersede state laws if there’s a conflict between them. Colorado looks out of control—cleanup/prosecutions TBD later, no doubt!
