where did I say everything is awesome? it's not. but we've had an extreme amount of help to keep our faith. we can see that things are in the process of being fixed. what would our situation look like without that help?
there is more than enough to be thankful for. beyond thankful. in 2011 I knew it was going to take a miracle for humanity to survive, and we have seen miracle upon miracle doing just that.
we still have our little family here where we can come together and dig and laugh.
and holy shit, now we can do most of that on twitter as well.
i recognize there are patriots being persecuted, that many of us have watched our families poison themselves for the greater good, that the chaos is increasing while the economy wanes, and people are at risk of losing their homes (lol) and on and on. to say nothing of the trafficked, MK'd, and murdered DS victims.
but if you think we're in a worse situation now, you just don't know how bad the situation has been. for a long time all of that was hidden beneath the surface. now it's being exposed to the light, and we get to come together and laugh at it all.
so...what part did I miss?
Just be thankful and keep your faith strong. diggers went for a long time without any light at the end of the tunnel. Now its growing brighter and brighter. you can only miss it if you keep your head buried. look to the light.
First off, I respect the hell out of your comment. Actually kinda explained it perfectly. Buuuut, I wasn’t implying you’d said anything. I’m saying that the struggles I’m currently going through are gonna be there no matter who is president. It’s a personal approach to a personal problem about shit being difficult…period. People outright hating each other; dehumanizing each other; divorcing, and all the other things involving pain and loss are tough:and some people just want a win, fren. ✌️
i hear you fren. my solution to those problems was losing my home, losing my friends, losing my family, and letting God carry me. Sometimes you have to make room for better things to come. I've been hopping between emergency shelters for a year now. I pray God shows you mercy regardless of your path. Our blessings are on their way.
