The lyrics go…“God shed HIS grace on thee” It was God who could not find 50 righteous people in S/G. Abraham argued with God not to destroy S/G for the sake of 50,45,40,30,20,10,5 then for the sake of 1 righteous man. So God spared S/G for 1 righteous man…but when the angels visited Lot the “men” of S/G wanted Lot to send out the angels so they could “know” them. Lot refused… Then God destroyed the city… Genesis 18
