Let's just end taxation PERIOD except for a 10% nationwide federal sales tax and a 5% nationwide state sales tax and cut the government down to the size it need to be. If prosperity and sales go up, then their tax revenue goes up. THE ONLY WAY to increase taxes is through prosperity!
A sales tax is a win. Companies will make longer lasting products, more repair parts. People will only spend on quality goods. It’s a fair tax as well. More environmentally friendly people won’t be so eager to throw away goods, they will be induced to take better care of their things. If you don’t want to pay taxes, don’t buy 💩
