A lot of these ideas are leftist ideas of redistribution of wealth, and they don't solve the problem. I like the idea of fundamentally changing the 'corporation' and breaking that system and rebuilding something new with built-in public ownership and accountability. Maybe do black reparations only so we get to use the 'n' word again, j/k. But seriously to shut them up forever. I think if we do that it's a public contract and if they say they didn't get anything later, then we send them a bill for their reparation, it's the gratitude clause. As far as nationalizing these companies, I'm not sure I'm into that. I think you break them up AFTER you've fixed corporation legal entity structure and then it solves itself.

You also have to have to have a fulsome discussion on marketing and advertising industry and get really clear what the public is going to accept in the future in terms of political influence in ads, privacy and targetting in ads, psychological manipulation and disinformation in ads; and that includes a discussion if the entire advertising industry should be banned flat out. Since it IS undue manipulation of the human mind and if we purport to be a FREE country then that includes FREEDOM OF THOUGHT, Freedom of Neurobiology, Neuropsychology to be able to generate our own thoughts and live our own lives and have our own experiences.
