I grew up growing our own food and have continued my whole life. We grow our own vegetables and fruits. I can and freeze all of it. The doctor always marvels over the fact neither of us needs medications and neither of us need glasses to see well. I'm not saying we don't pull through a fast food place once in a while; but we better be no more than 20 minutes from our bathroom. Edit: We do not raise our own animals for our meet but we do buy our meat from a trusted local butcher.
