When you go to renew your drivers license, which is something we should probably all be looking at very stringently as Real ID comes into effect next year, you will want to take note of something.
As part of signing off on your DL renewal, you will have to acknowledge and agree to Title 42, Section 666 (a)(13)(A)

REAL ID dictates that, in every state and territory, applicants for IDs will have the documents used to verify their residency scanned and stored in a database that may include birth certificates and Social Security cards.
(13)Recording of social security numbers in certain family matters.—Procedures requiring that the social security number of— (A) any applicant for a professional license, driver’s license, occupational license, recreational license, or marriage license be recorded on the application;
Disclosure of your SSN is mandatory for ID card and DL applicants, but voluntary for election ID applicants.
If the social security number is the number and/or precursor to a permanent marking, and many countries have them, not just the United States, we should be doing all we can to find our way out of this issue ASAP.

We should do some deep digging on how to get out of requiring a DL, as most of us and our families surely have them.
Once the DL is removed, a lot of other things will be an issue as well - housing, finances, employment - we should have some guides on navigating those issues. I have some posts that have found information on these things that I will try to dig up and add here.
This post may be of critical eternal importance, and much sooner than we think.

I looked but couldn't find anything relevant to your post.
