Yeah. Getting a job at below avg. wages seemed like a great deal back when hubby was paying for the house and car notes, and groceries, and such, and little miss vanity queen just wanted some extra "spending money" to buy nice jewelry, and perfume's, and shit.
We see how that deal turned out.

I see your point. But the career thing is a major part of it.
When we changed culture to have more women enter the workforce.
By default she is going to see herself as the breadwinner.
Brainwashing on it's own is not enough.
There has to be something tangible that causes that shift.
The media can tell women not to have kids all they want. If there is no tangible cause.
The propaganda will not stick.
