One thing that struck me is that instead of fixing the system/availability and education on healthy foods, there's a bill (I think before Congress now) that in the name of EQUITY will allow Medicaid to pay for OZEMPIC for poor people! And if this goes to the full extent possible will end up costing a $trillion plus. (not sure how other insurers play into it)
In other words, it's only FAIR that we allow EVERYONE access to this unsafe, expensive "solution" to our national obesity problem! Can you even IMAGINE what this will do to everyone's health??? omg.
Not to mention what it'll do to the budget/economy.
In his interview with Tucker he goes in details about what Ozempic does to your body. Big pharma, gov and the food industry is saying eat all the junk you want with out any consequences because we have the magic solution. Today in the grocery store I saw several elderly people buying junk like pudding and jello. I understand the prices of food is very high but there are better choices even on a low income. My husband and I have been eating carnivore eight months and it’s so liberating shopping in only the meat and dairy sections. It’s probably not for everyone! We spend drastically less on groceries than before.
