Many only look at the short term: their desires, their wants. They want free housing, free healthcare, abortion to take care of that pesky pregnancy, student loans paid off, etc. Sobthey will vote for those giving them or promising the freebies and promising their immediate desires. In the end, God will judge how you lived your life: did you help others, did you honor the Ten Commandments, etc.?
